How to set microsoft security essentials?

In microsoft security essentials under settings and default actions should i reset the alert levels to remove,quarantine,allow etc or leave them under what it says now:(recomended actions) the way i downloaded it?

1. No those settings are fine. The only thing I would change is under the advanced. Make sure all 4 boxes are checked and then click "save changes" Other than that your are good to go.
